Bluetooth Capabilities for Safe Calling
Remember the days when there were no rules that regulated cellphone use while driving? Only the wealthy were fortunate enough to have cellphones built into their actual car. A few years later when truly portable cellphones were available, many still had no need for them. They were a necessity for our parents to communicate with us –mainly to page us. (Remember beepers?!)
But today, the rules of the game have changed drastically. Everyone has a cellphone. Children as young as 10 are toting them around. Who they are calling, no one knows for sure. The reality is that most of us feel attached to our cellphones, even in the car. It’s not the safest place to be checking Facebook, sending a text, or even making a phone call, but that often doesn’t stop us from doing it. Studies revealed that cellphones can still be a major distraction even when using hands-free calling.
Sometimes, though, there are situations where a phone call must be made on the road and it might as well be one that is hands-free. Thankfully for our customers, many of our GSM cell phones come with Bluetooth capabilities. Bluetooth isn’t just for hands-free calling, it also controls many other wireless accessories, but it is the main feature worth boasting. Be safe on the road. Purchase a Bluetooth headset if the car does not offer an automatic sync to the phone.
