This is a good question those who do not have a smartphone ask themselves on occasion. Or sometimes, they ask this question a lot. It really depends on how strong the inkling is to actually acquire such a device. With so many people walking around with a smartphone actually using it quite often, it is easy understand why people are arguing with themselves about the topic. If you are one of those people on the fence, maybe the points below will be reason enough for you to buy one.
- Apps. People love to use apps on their smartphones. There is an app for pretty much everything. While there are many that you have to pay for, there are also some very useful ones that are completely free. Some examples of apps are games, web browsers, music search apps, restaurant finding apps, and then some.
- Using a smartphone as a GPS. A dedicated GPS for your car can easily cost as much as a smartphone sans all the other features. Also, you can carry around this GPS to with you find places.
- High-speed wireless connections. From 4G and beyond, smartphones can access the Internet and have much of the functionality that most PC’s have.
